Laguna Downhill Race

 In Event Coverage

Laguna Downhill is a small race organized in a village outside of Guadalajara. Think hot dry desert, cheap mexican beer, delicious tacos, and drunken boxing matches in a bull riding ring. The course is a hefty straight that dumps you into a 90 degree drift; followed by a few sets of chunderous left and right sweepers. The rough pavement and heat make the course incredibly hard to grip so passing is a big risk. Local shredder Oscar Gutierrez made off with first place representing RAD Wheels and Sector 9 skateboards.

1st Oscar Gutierrez (Mexico)
2nd Gerardo Moreno (Mexico)
3rd Dustin Hampton (California)
